Glazing Project Manager
About The Position
Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Glazing Project Manager to join our Winnipeg branch. This opportunity is ideal for an up-and-coming project management professional with commercial glazing experience who is looking to grow their career with Canada's leading building envelope contractor. Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Estimator, or Project Manager in commercial construction
- Commercial glazing experience required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Experience working directly with customers and project stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Education in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field considered an asset
- Experience with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar software considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial glazing projects from award through completion
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents
- Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and labor targets
- Coordinate manpower, procurement, fabrication, and installation activities
- Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, suppliers, and contractors
- Identify project risks and negotiate practical solutions
- Manage project documentation and change orders
- Lead project kickoff, progress, and closeout meetings
- Collaborate closely with field teams and operations staff
- Ensure project safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives are achieved
