Laborer - Glazier (Commercial Glass - Installer)

Requirements
- Comfort using hand and power tools
- 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience
- Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude
- Must possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&A)
- Be quickly trained for forklift license, and boom lift/scissor lift certification
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed
- Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites
- Assist in the installation of glass, storefront/curtain wall, and doors with closers and thresholds
- Follow instructions from the site Lead and Foreman
- Assist Lead Glaziers as needed
- Assist with brake metal installation
- Identify and report issues with work material on site
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
