About The Position
Catalent’s Greenville, N.C. facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. This state-of-the-art facility has had over $100M of investments in recent years and features fit-for-scale capacity with potent handling capabilities, ideal for orphan or targeted drug development. The Glassware Technician is responsible for maintaining the flow of glassware within the Greenville site according to standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of related work experience or completion of Grads2Work Program or BioWorks certificate program.
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, climbing.
- Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Some exposure to hazardous chemical and other active chemical ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies with minimal supervision.
- Clean all glassware by washing, drying, and distributing to the appropriate laboratories.
- Support other general laboratory operations as required including, but not limited to, chemical inventory and general laboratory support and recordkeeping.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practice.
