Glass Packing Technician
About The Position
Cardinal CT Mount Airy has a full time opening for a Glass Packing Technician. This role involves manually lifting up to 50LBS. of raw material, finished products, and/or pack items repetitively in a fast-paced environment. The technician must be able to pack 250 pieces of glass per hour, mark or tag identification on glass products, and inspect glass for visual/material defects and quality specification tolerances. Following 5S procedures to maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work environment is essential. The role also includes counting finished products to ensure order completion, communicating pertinent information to colleagues and management, and completing all other required tasks. A respectful attitude towards co-workers, regular attendance, and the ability to work in a team with good judgment are also key aspects of this position.

- Ability to manually lift up to 50LBS.
- Ability to pack 250 pieces of glass per hour.
- Ability to inspect glass for visual / and or material defects as well as quality specification tolerances.
- Ability to follow 5S procedures.
- Ability to count finished products.
- Ability to communicate pertinent information to co-workers, supervisors, & management.
- Ability to respect each co-worker.
- Regular Attendance.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to use good judgment.
- Must pass a Drug Screen, Hearing, Physical & Performance Evaluation.
Responsibilities
