About The Position

Cardinal CT Mount Airy has a full time opening for a Glass Packing Technician. This role involves manually lifting up to 50LBS of raw material, finished products, and/or pack items repetitively in a fast-paced environment. The technician will be responsible for packing 250 pieces of glass per hour, marking or tagging identification on glass products, and inspecting glass for visual/material defects and quality specification tolerances. The position also requires adherence to 5S procedures for a clean and safe work environment, counting finished products, and communicating pertinent information to team members and management. A respectful and team-oriented attitude, regular attendance, and good judgment are essential. The shift hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. A drug screen, hearing, physical, and performance evaluation are required for employment.

Requirements

Ability to manually lift up to 50LBS.
Ability to pack 250 pieces of glass per hour.
Ability to mark or tag identification on glass products.

Ability to follow 5S procedures.
