About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist is an essential role for Mygrant Glass, operating material handling equipment to select, stock, and organize products, as well as handling materials for staging. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and stocking products to meet key performance indicators and customer service goals.

Requirements

  • Pass and maintain Forklift certification.
  • 2+ years warehouse or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Select incoming pick tickets using RFID technology to fulfill customer orders.
  • Prepare, pack, scan, and stage products for transfer, customer pick-up, and delivery.
  • Receive, process, and store incoming auto glass product shipments.
  • Inspect shipments, document damages or shortages, and initiate freight claims if necessary.
  • Verify incoming delivery contents against packing lists.
  • Check vendor part numbers and MGC stock numbers for all incoming products.
  • Prepare receiving reports, noting any discrepancies.
  • Report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Store incoming products in the correct locations.
  • Determine proper bin numbers and locations for incoming products.
  • Verify actual stock counts against CORE inventory and investigate discrepancies.
  • Operate material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers) safely.
  • Monitor equipment and report safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain required hazardous materials, forklift, and other certifications.
  • Break down boxes, stock accessories, and organize inventory.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain the appearance of the branch, including cleaning the warehouse and counter area.
  • Assist in prepping, inspecting, labeling, and loading products, while limiting breakage.
  • Load delivery vehicles and assist customers with will call pickups.
  • Drive company vehicles for deliveries, transfers, or maintenance.
  • Process customer returns, ensuring they are in sellable condition.
  • Verify warranty paperwork and initiate the warranty return process.
  • Process documentation for transfers and customer orders (bills of lading, packing lists, etc.).
  • Perform cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform other assigned job tasks.
