About The Position

Mygrant Glass, established in 1926, is the largest independent wholesale distributor of automotive glass in the United States. We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist who has material handling experience in a warehouse setting. This role reports to the Branch Manager and operates on a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with modern warehouse software with basic computer skills

  • 2+ years warehouse or equivalent experience

  • CMV DOT Medical Card preferred
  • Pass and maintain Forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Select incoming pick tickets using RFID technology to accurately fulfill customer orders.
  • Prepare, pack, scan, and stage products for transfer, customer pick-up, and delivery.
  • Receive, process, and store incoming auto glass product shipments, inspecting for damages or shortages and documenting/recording them.
  • Initiate freight claim procedures when necessary.
  • Check incoming delivery contents against packing lists to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify vendor part numbers and MGC stock numbers for all incoming products.
  • Prepare receiving reports and note any shortages, damages, or overages, reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Store incoming products in the proper location according to bin number or product sequence.
  • Determine the proper bin number and/or location of incoming products.
  • Verify actual stock counts against CORE inventory and investigate/report discrepancies.
  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment safely.
  • Monitor equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain required hazardous materials, forklift, and other internal and external certifications.
  • Break down boxes, stock accessories, and organize inventory as directed.
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch, including cleaning the warehouse and counter area.
  • Aid in prepping, inspecting, labeling, and loading, safely maintaining KPI objectives and limiting breakage.
  • Load delivery vehicles and assist customers with will call pickups.
  • Drive company vehicles for customer deliveries, transfers, or assigned maintenance.
  • Process customer returns, ensuring they are in sellable condition per company policy.
  • Verify that warranty paperwork is properly and neatly filled out.
  • Initiate the warranty return process and stage product in the warranty area.
  • Process documentation necessary to ship transfers and customer orders, including bills of lading, packing lists, small parcel manifests, and other necessary documents.
  • Perform cycle counting on assigned items to keep accurate inventory records.
  • Perform other job tasks as assigned.
