Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Familiar with modern warehouse software with basic computer skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail and Safety oriented with a mind for accuracy
  • Exceptional time management skills, punctual with stellar attendance
  • A beginner’s mindset that is coachable and open to feedback
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, and/or take direction in an ever-changing working condition
  • Ability to work flexible shifts or overtime as needed
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Pass and maintain Forklift certification
  • 2+ years warehouse or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Select incoming pick tickets using RFID technology to accurately fulfill customer orders.
  • Prepare, pack, and scan products for transfer and customer pick-up and delivery.
  • Receive, process, and store incoming auto glass product shipments.
  • Inspect shipments, document and record damages or shortages.
  • Initiate freight claim procedure when necessary.
  • Check incoming delivery contents against packing list to verify accurate and full delivery.
  • Verify vendor part number and MGC stock number for all incoming products.
  • Prepare receiving reports and note any discrepancies.
  • Store incoming products in the proper location according to bin number or product sequence.
  • Determine proper bin number and/or location of incoming products.
  • Verify actual counts of stock against CORE inventory.
  • Investigate and report discrepancies.
  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment safely.
  • Monitor equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain required hazardous materials, forklift, and other certifications.
  • Break down boxes, stock accessories, and organize inventory.
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch.
  • Clean warehouse, counter area, etc.
  • Aid in prepping, inspecting, labeling, and loading.
  • Safely maintain KPI objectives and limit breakage.
  • Load delivery vehicles and assist customers with will call pickups.
  • Drive company vehicles for customer deliveries, transfers, or assigned maintenance.
  • Process customer returns, ensuring they are in sellable condition.
  • Verify that warranty paperwork has been properly filled out.
  • Initiate warranty return process and stage product in the warranty area.
  • Process documentation necessary to ship transfers and customer orders.
  • Perform cycle counting on assigned items to keep accurate inventory records.
  • Perform other job tasks as assigned.
