About The Position

Mygrant Glass is seeking a Warehouse/ Glass Handling Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, and shipping of automotive glass. The specialist will utilize RFID technology for order picking, prepare and pack products, and ensure accurate inventory management. They will also operate warehouse equipment, maintain certifications, and assist with branch appearance. Other duties include loading delivery vehicles, processing customer returns and warranties, and performing cycle counts. The company emphasizes teamwork, friendly service, and career development within the auto glass industry.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Select incoming pick tickets using RFID technology to accurately fulfill customer orders.
  • Prepare, pack, and scan products for transfer and customer pick-up and delivery.
  • Receive, process, and store incoming auto glass product shipments.
  • Inspect shipments for damages or shortages and document/record them.
  • Initiate freight claim procedure when necessary.
  • Check incoming delivery contents against packing lists for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify vendor part numbers and MGC stock numbers for all incoming products.
  • Prepare receiving reports and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Store incoming products in the proper location according to bin number or product sequence.
  • Determine the proper bin number and/or location of incoming products.
  • Verify actual counts of stock against CORE inventory and investigate/report discrepancies.
  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment safely.
  • Monitor equipment and promptly report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain required hazardous materials, forklift, and other certifications.
  • Break down boxes, stock accessories, and organize inventory.
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch, including cleaning the warehouse and counter area.
  • Aid in prepping, inspecting, labeling, and loading to safely maintain KPI objectives and limit breakage.
  • Load delivery vehicles and assist customers with will call pickups.
  • Drive company vehicles for customer deliveries, transfers, or assigned maintenance.
  • Process customer returns, ensuring they are in sellable condition.
  • Verify warranty paperwork is properly filled out and initiate the warranty return process.
  • Process documentation necessary to ship transfers and customer orders.
  • Perform cycle counting on assigned items to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform other job tasks as assigned.
