About The Position
Cardinal FG, in Menomonie, WI is looking for dependable individuals who have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and who are committed to working safely and effectively in a team environment. This role involves ensuring the furnace is properly adjusted and maintained to achieve efficient melting of batch materials. Perform optical readings and conduct routine inspections above, below, and around the furnace to identify flames, openings, or hot spots. Inspect the batch charger visually. Verify that hoses remain cool to the touch and check the operation of fans, pumps, and the external water-cooling system. Adjust air, fuel, and gas levels as needed to sustain proper melting conditions. Promptly notify the supervisor and relevant departments of any issues.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age to apply
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds
- Demonstrate a solid work ethic, good decision making, and is a team-oriented professional
- Be certified annually to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

Benefits
- $23.75/hr. Wage increases (based on successful performance evaluations) after first 90 days and at six-month intervals.
