About The Position

We are partnering with a growing commercial glazing contractor specializing in turnkey management of glazing packages nationwide is seeking a Glass Estimator to join their team.This organization partners with general contractors, developers, and architects to deliver full-scope glazing solutions for interior and exterior commercial construction projects. Their portfolio includes high-rises, retail developments, mixed-use buildings, and specialty facilities. The Glass Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, performing accurate material takeoffs, and preparing competitive cost estimates for glass and glazing scopes. This role works closely with project managers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure budgets and timelines are aligned for successful project delivery. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are critical to success in this role.

Requirements

Experience in glass and glazing estimating within commercial construction
Strong blueprint reading and takeoff skills
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of commercial glazing systems and construction processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

Understanding of field operations and coordination with multiple trades (preferred)
degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
