About The Position
The Glass Cutter is responsible for cutting glass to specific measurements and placing the cut glass on carts. Training is provided. This is a 1st Shift position working M-F 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with overtime as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tapes and product specifications with mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Printing and reading glass cart sheets
- Operating the WinCut software
- Operating the loader control software
- Operating the Intigral glass optimizer
- Process controls relating to glass cutting
- Processing glass remakes
- Proper breakout techniques
- Safe monolithic glass handling techniques
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
