About The Position
Ripley Entertainment is looking for talented individuals to join their team as Glass Bottom Boat Tour Guides. This role is ideal for someone with a fun, energetic, and outgoing personality who enjoys entertaining families. You will be responsible for guiding small groups of guests on a 12-15 minute glass-bottom boat tour through a shark lagoon, sharing interesting facts and stories to create a memorable experience. The lagoon contains 750,000 gallons of water and over 200 species of marine life.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
Responsibilities
- Be outgoing
- Speak clearly to groups of up to 10 people per ride
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 30lbs
- Clean the boat and dock
- Entertain guests with facts and stories about the aquarium and marine life in the shark lagoon
- Be punctual for scheduled tour start times
