About The Position

Performs a variety of first-line supervisory, complex, technical, and general administrative duties related to planning and organizing the coordination, development or creation of digitized maps through a geographic information system (GIS) using ArcINFO, ArcGIS or related ESRI computer program application(s).
Manages day-to-day operations of the department; determines performance standards; evaluates worker performance and makes decisions affecting job retention, advancement, discipline and discharge; directs and controls recruitment and selection activities for staff members; reviews and monitors overall department performance.

Requirements

• Graduation from college with a bachelor's degree in geography, cartography, computer science or related field.
• Five (5) years of related experience.
• Must be certified by State of Utah in Cadastral Mapping.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
