GIS Specialist (Pipeline Posting)
About The Position
LingaTech is building a pipeline of experienced GIS professionals to support current and future client initiatives across public sector, utilities, transportation, and enterprise environments. Opportunities may range from spatial analysis and mapping support to application development and enterprise GIS administration. Ideal candidates bring strong experience with the Esri platform and a solid understanding of spatial data management and geospatial technologies. This is a pipeline posting. Qualified candidates will be considered for upcoming project-based and staff augmentation opportunities. You may be considered for upcoming openings such as: GIS Analyst Senior GIS Analyst GIS Developer Senior GIS Developer GIS Administrator GIS Application Developer GIS Systems Analyst Enterprise GIS Architect Spatial Data Analyst GIS Project Lead / Technical Lead
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional GIS experience
- Experience with Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, Online, and/or Enterprise)
- Strong understanding of spatial data concepts and coordinate systems
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar)
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate into GIS solutions
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
- Experience with Angular, Java, or .NET integrations
- PostGIS experience
- Experience with Azure or other cloud environments
- Familiarity with Survey123, Field Maps, Experience Builder, or GeoEvent
- Government or regulated industry experience
Responsibilities
- Performing spatial analysis, mapping, and data visualization
- Designing and developing GIS applications and tools
- Supporting ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise environments
- Creating and maintaining web maps, dashboards, and feature services
- Managing spatial databases and geodatabases
- Integrating GIS services with enterprise systems via APIs
- Supporting data governance, quality assurance, and documentation
- Collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders
