About The Position
To operate his/her program under a code of conduct beyond question. To make positive efforts to teach the sport, as well as the rules, sportsmanship codes, and other values available within the activity.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate or obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Operate program under a code of conduct beyond question.
- Make positive efforts to teach the sport, its rules, and sportsmanship codes.
- Impart knowledge of the sport to athletes.
