About The Position

PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 is seeking a Girls Wrestling Assistant Coach for Stevens Middle School. This position is conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening. The coach will be responsible for mentoring coaches within the program, directing all phases of the athletic program, coordinating out-of-season camps and/or clinics as needed or required, and attending district training regarding concussion management and other required trainings to maintain coaching eligibility.

Requirements

• Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
• Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
• Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
• High School Diploma, required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Previous coach experience at high school or collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Mentor coaches within program.
