About The Position

PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 is seeking a Girls Wrestling Assistant Coach for Stevens Middle School. This position is conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening and requires adherence to all WIAA and district rules, policies, and guidelines. The coach will mentor other coaches, direct phases of the athletic program, coordinate out-of-season camps/clinics, and attend required district and WIAA training, including concussion management.

Requirements

• Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
• Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
• Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
• High School Diploma, required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Previous coach experience at high school or collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Mentor coaches within program.
• Direct all phases of athletic program.
• Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
• Attend District training regarding concussion management.
• Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
