About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Girls Track Assistant Coach at Northeast High School. The position requires a Head Coach with a standard high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of the sport. Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate. Applicants without one will need to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education. The Assistant Coach also needs a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of the activity, and computer skills.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate (required for Head Coach, implies preference for Assistant Coach).
