Girls Tennis - Coach
About The Position
This is a supplemental contract position for the Fall Sports season of the 2026-2027 school year. The role is for a Girls Tennis Head Coach at Penn Wood HS, with activities running from August to November. The compensation is in accordance with the negotiated contract. Coaches are required to provide weekly updates to the Athletic Director and administrators, including a schedule of activities and attendance records. Payment will be processed within three weeks of the building administrator confirming all responsibilities have been met. No additional compensation will be provided for extra practice time. All coaches must confirm completion of Concussion Training and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training. Assignment and termination of supplemental contracts are administrative prerogatives. Employees must provide 60 days' notice of resignation from supplemental positions.
Requirements
- Completion of Concussion Training
- Completion of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
- Ability to provide weekly updates including activity schedules and student attendance
- Ability to obtain student signatures for attendance per session
- Must give 60 days notice of resignation from supplemental positions per WPEA contract, page 52, Exhibit E.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular updates to the Athletic Director and administrators via Weekly Athletic Practice Plan.
- Include a schedule of activities and the number of students who attend in the weekly updates.
- Obtain signatures for each student attending per session.
- Confirm completion of Concussion Training and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training by emailing [email protected].
- Fulfill all responsibilities associated with the supplemental contract to ensure timely payment.
