This role involves leading and managing all aspects of the Junior Varsity (JV) volleyball program. The coach will be responsible for practices, matches, player development, and fostering a positive team culture. A key aspect of the role is to teach fundamental volleyball skills and game strategy, while also developing athletes physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The coach will provide constructive feedback, coordinate with the varsity coaching staff, and supervise student-athletes. Effective communication with all stakeholders, including players, parents, administration, and the athletic department, is essential. The position requires ensuring compliance with school and SCISA policies, organizing equipment and schedules, and monitoring athlete eligibility and conduct. A strong emphasis is placed on promoting Christian character, sportsmanship, a strong work ethic, perseverance, and a team-first mentality. The coach will also mentor student-athletes, modeling Christian values in all interactions.
