Supplemental Only - Girls Beach Volleyball (Head Coach)
About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Girls Beach Volleyball Head Coach. The goal of the position is to coach the girls' beach volleyball team. Essential performance responsibilities include imparting knowledge of the sport to participants. The minimum qualifications include a standard high school diploma or GED. Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate. Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education. The coach must have knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge. The assistant coach also requires a high school diploma or GED and knowledge of the activity to impart to participants. Computer skills are also required for the position.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate or obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
