About The Position
Fern Ridge School District is currently seeking applicants for a JV Girls Basketball Coach at Elmira High School. We are seeking creative, outstanding candidates who will plan and lead regular practices, supervise student-athletes, monitor the safety of all participants, and increase athletic participation in the basketball program. This position is under the direct supervision of the Athletic Director and Principal of Elmira High School. This position instructs/assists team members with skills and sportsmanship and performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Resume that reflects coaching experience and abilities
- Frontline Application
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
- Current in-district applicants need only to submit a statement of interest through Frontline to be considered.
- Must obtain and maintain a current First Aid/CPR card
- Must obtain the necessary OSAA certifications prior to coaching
- Must have a fingerprint background check on file with the Oregon Department of Education
