About The Position

Serve as an instructor for the Developing Mathematical Ideas (DMI) professional learning series, supporting educators in deepening their mathematical content knowledge and strengthening instructional practices. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and facilitating professional learning sessions; developing and organizing instructional materials and activities; supporting participant engagement and learning; and completing related preparation, coordination, and follow-up activities as needed. The hourly rate depends on the applicable collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. The contract runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with a maximum contract amount of $2,081.

Requirements

• Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
• Online Concussion Education Certification.
• Online Implicit Bias Education Certification.
• Fulfillment of MIAA Coaches Education Requirements and state requirements.
• Completion of a CORI Form and fingerprinting background check.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred.
