Gift Shop Manager
About The Position

With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a team manager to oversee all areas of the gift shop, serving, running the register and leading a team to deliver excellence for every guest. As the Gift Shop Manager, you will oversee all facets of the retail gift shop, creating a space to maximize the marketing of our merchandise, and developing your team to assist our guests with excellent service.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with weekends and night time availability
- Ability to complete statistical reports as required.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Ability to manage time well.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
- Understands and communicates the Margaritaville Lake Resort Mission.
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Actively listens to others.
- Minimum lifting & pulling of 20 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
- Continuous standing for duration of shift
- Hearing, writing, typing.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day operation of the Resort’s Gift Shop
- Approve payroll for all associates in the Gift Shop
- Prepare weekly schedules for Gift Shops
- Order Merchandise for resale in the Gift Shops
- Reconcile invoices to orders received
- Attend Pre Conference meetings as needed
- Assist guests with purchases and run cash/ card register
