About The Position

This role is with a well-established, stable, and growing firm in the Walnut Creek area. The position is integral to tax planning for individuals, trusts, and businesses, applying tax expertise and a strong understanding of laws, regulations, and standards to develop client-related recommendations. The role includes technical review of tax returns and collaboration with partners, clients, and senior accountants to identify, explain, and resolve tax issues while fostering and growing client relationships. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Tax; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Licensed CPA.
10+ years of experience with High Net Worth Individual, Gift/Estate & Trust tax.
Demonstrated high-level technical tax proficiency.
Experience researching complex tax issues.
Ability to rapidly resolve unique issues and concerns creatively.
Ability to establish, maintain, and grow customer relationships.
Experience mentoring and leading teams focused on Gift, Estate & Trust and HNWI tax.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
