About The Position

This position is responsible for increasing sales and providing support to customers with problems related to gift cards. Other responsibilities include balancing credit card payments and providing accounting support for general ledger analysis for various general ledger accounts. Responsibilities include: providing day-to-day operational support to customers regarding Publix gift cards. labeling, packaging, and shipping all gift card orders neatly and timely to meet customer expectations. reconciling customer accounts when orders are cancelled or replacements are requested by customers. maintaining proper aging, credit card balancing and out of balances on the Gift Card accounts. providing ongoing support to IS, Marketing and Advertising, Community Affairs, and Strategy Support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 3 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • excellent skills in written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate with all levels of the company
  • ability to multi-task and handle large volumes of work at once

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Knowledge and understanding of Publix’s Customer Personal Information Protection (CPIP) policy
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement Process (QIP) improvement methodology
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Corporate Gift Card Fulfillment System, Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Access, Excel, and Word), OSI, Vantiv IQ, Cybersource, and Accurin
