Gift Card Merchandiser
About The Position
As a part-time Gift Card Merchandiser, you will manage a geographic territory, visiting stores when work is available to keep products and displays visually appealing, maintain appropriate product availability and pricing, and build relationships with store managers. Projects can range from 0 to 40 hours per week based on volume. The role is performed at retail locations during daytime business hours and requires travel between multiple locations in the designated area. Channel Partners provides paid mileage and travel pay where applicable, per diem and hotel accommodations for travelers, limited benefit plans for everyday illnesses and accidents, a weekly pay schedule, and early wage access. The position requires reliable personal transportation, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform merchandising tasks, and the ability to use instructions and hand tools as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have reliable personal transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple locations in the designated area; some markets may require further travel.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the Channel Partners management team.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform merchandising activities such as planogram implementations, resets, display setups, product cut-ins, audits, shelf stocking, light dusting and cleaning of completed sets, retagging, and product rotation.
- Help ensure store appearance and merchandise displays align with planograms.
- Accurately report daily hours worked through an online portal accessible by smartphone, computer, or tablet.
- Maintain retailer-specific online certifications as necessary.
- Photograph completed assignments and report them to the District Manager.
- Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
- Visit stores in the assigned territory when there is work to execute.
