About The Position

LCI is seeking a Giant Voice Technician to provide operations and maintenance support for Giant Voice system hardware, software, and infrastructure. Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid U.S. Government Public Trust security clearance.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years related experience supporting similar systems and hardware
  • Related OEM manufacturers certifications.
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass a background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Giant Voice system, hardware, software, and infrastructure programming, configuration, and support
  • Technical documentation and drawing review and updates
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic testing
  • Telecommunications/cabling
  • Request and ticketing system input/updates
  • Strong customer focus with a proven track record in client-facing environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
  • Highly proficient in deploying structured infrastructure troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex network faults.
  • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, focusing on NFPA 70 and 800 Articles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of TIA/EIA 568 Building Cable Standards.
  • Strict adherence to federal OSHA safety standards across all active work environments.
  • Valid OSHA Confined Space certification.
  • Certified to perform CPR and act as an authorized safety observer or standby attendant when necessary.
  • Capable of execute heavy work, including lifting loads exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and ascend ladders safely for prolonged operational shifts.
  • Comfortable operating in active, hazardous, loud, or subterranean/dirty field environments.

  • Federal agency organization support experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance as scheduled per manufacturer and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Accomplish troubleshooting, repair, replacement, updates, changes, and configuration of hardware, software, and infrastructure to support organizational changes, requests, issue resolution, and emerging technologies per policies and processes.
  • Program, configure, test, and validate system changes per organizational policies/procedures, requests, and to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
  • Update and maintain all logs, records, and associated technical documentation, to include all related system and data updates.
  • Provide support for installations, modifications, and other projects as assigned.
