The Clinic EMT will be a vital part of the patient's journey, from intake to post-procedure care, bringing unique skills and a cheerful demeanor to the forefront.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State-approved EMT training program graduate
- Active State NE EMT License required
- Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 60 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- LPN or completed Medical Assistant degree
Responsibilities
- Checking patients in, taking vitals with precision, and ensuring they are comfortable and ready for their visit.
- Assisting during various GI procedures, including setting up equipment and monitoring patients.
- Stocking exam rooms, ensuring equipment is clean and ready for use, and keeping clinical areas organized and efficient.
- Acting as a key liaison between patients, nurses, and physicians, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Providing immediate assistance and support in unexpected situations, demonstrating calm under pressure.
