About The Position

Become a CASTmember of the Nations Storyteller ® and join our fun-employed family! Have fun driving our Trolley of The Doomed! Share the darker side of our region's history while driving The Ghost and Gravestones trolley. Entertain guests by taking them on a journey back in time by touring the most haunted places in the city! This is a part-time position, requiring two to three nights a week, involving driving and shuttling with minimal narration required. Tours are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in duration. Evenings typically run from 5:00 pm to 10:00/10:30 pm, potentially later depending on the number of guests/tours. The Tour Conductor must be able to drive a non-air-conditioned vehicle on busy public streets in a safe and competent manner.

Requirements

Must have a CDL class C (or higher) with Passenger Endorsement
Must be able to board and exit the trolley and assist guests with boarding and exiting the trolley
Must pass annual Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) checks as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
Ability to learn routes as assigned
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers, the general public, law enforcement and emergency personnel
Ability to sit for long periods of time and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable and verifiable driving record of at least three years
Successful candidates must undergo a drug test and a background search

$1000 Hiring Bonus ($500 pd after 90 day anniversary, $500 pd after 6 month anniversary) must meet attendance requirements
