About The Position

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a global leader in aerospace innovation, proudly headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec, since 1928. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about data, technology, and regulatory compliance to join Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Global Chemical Compliance team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of digital solutions that support product compliance with global environmental and chemical regulations. You will work at the intersection of information technology, product data management, and regulatory compliance to provide greater visibility into risks associated with chemical substances contained in our products. The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site. Flexibility in work hours may be required to support operational priorities and evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Process Management, or any related field.
  • Experience managing and integrating complex data sets.
  • Experience with PLM systems or other product data management systems.
  • Experience developing database solutions and system integration capabilities.
  • Interest in emerging environmental compliance requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology-driven solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and manage data from internal systems, PLM platforms, and suppliers.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and traceability of compliance-related data.
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Compliance teams.
  • Assess risks associated with chemical substances in products and materials.
  • Develop tools, dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support decision-making.
  • Present analyses and recommendations to technical and management teams.
