About The Position

The Medicine Department at HMFP @ BIDMC is seeking a Gerontologist for a part-time faculty position for our Boston location. The candidate will be appointed to the faculty of Harvard Medical School at an academic rank commensurate with experience. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a 743-bed hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, is a founding member of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or eligible in Gerontology
• A valid MA medical license or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Coverage (All clinics with 44 weeks/year expectation)
• 3 clinics (each 4 hours in length) per week supporting BIDMC Gerontology at BIDMC Boston. Total annual clinic expectation is 132 clinics
• Participating in the on-call rotation for the practice
