About The Position
The Humanities Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening to teach online sections GER 102 through the downtown Jefferson Community and Technical College campus. This position begins in the Spring semester, January 2027.
Requirements
- Eighteen graduate hours in German or Germanic Studies, or a completed Master’s degree, or a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline required.

- Demonstrated commitment to working with all students through teaching, mentoring, or administration.
- Skilled in engaging and supporting students at the community college level.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses
- Maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students
- Engage in success and retention activities
- Utilize a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback
