About The Position

Introducing an excellent opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut to join Hartford HealthCare’s highly respected, innovative and supportive, multi-disciplinary Geriatrics and Palliative Care team serving our patients within the only healthcare network in the nation to receive the 2025 Quest for Quality Prize from the American Hospital Association. Role: Flexible based on your interests! This position will be mostly inpatient geriatric medicine and ideally palliative care. Location: Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, CT Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only Teaching: Optional with faculty appointment.

Requirements

Physician with expertise in Geriatrics and Palliative Care.
Ability to work full-time, weekdays only.
Willingness to work in an inpatient setting.
Interest in palliative care is ideal.

Nice To Haves

Experience with EPIC and Dragon.
Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant texting and patient portals.
Interest in leadership, research, or academic teaching.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient geriatric medicine and ideally palliative care.
Participate in a multi-disciplinary team.
Serve patients within a healthcare network that has received the 2025 Quest for Quality Prize from the American Hospital Association.
Engage in optional teaching with a faculty appointment.
Potentially participate in moonlighting/per diem opportunities in hospital or urgent care settings.
