About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Geriatrician to provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will receive comprehensive training in wound management, becoming experts utilizing cutting-edge technologies and the latest wound care modalities. The position involves conducting weekly wound rounds at post-acute care facilities like Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
