About The Position

Delta Hospital and the surrounding Health Service Area are looking for a Geriatrician to join their team in British Columbia. This is a part-time permanent position (0.5-0.6 FTE, negotiable) that will expand existing geriatric services. The role involves consultative inpatient activities at Delta Hospital and ambulatory practice within an active specialized seniors clinic with interdisciplinary geriatric team support. The successful candidate will join the current geriatrician in Delta and contribute to academic and teaching components of the Service. There is also the opportunity to work on a part-time basis or in conjunction with other nearby communities.

Requirements

• Eligibility for or active FRCPC Geriatric Medicine
• Eligibility for or active full license to practice in BC
• Strong collaborative interpersonal and inter-disciplinary skills
• Eligibility to apply for a clinical faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia
