About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Geriatrician for a position in Tulsa, OK. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Physicians will provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The group provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, equipping physicians with the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. Physicians utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. The practice involves weekly wound rounds at post-acute care facilities such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Clinical documentation is performed at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract position.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
