About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Geriatrician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians will conduct weekly wound rounds, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities daily within a 40-60 mile radius. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers opportunities for specialization in wound management through comprehensive training and a fellowship program, utilizing advanced clinical technologies and wound care modalities. This position emphasizes clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
