Geriatric Nursing Assistant, GNA
About The Position
Keswick is seeking dedicated, caring team members for the Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) position. This role involves providing day-to-day direct care to residents/patients, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in accordance with current standards, and compassionately helping residents/patients maintain or attain the highest practical level of functioning. Priority shifts include Full Time Evening or Part Time Evening. Keswick is a not-for-profit aging services organization with over 140 years of expertise, dedicated to improving the experience of aging together and providing compassionate services for older adults.
Requirements
- Current and valid Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day direct care to residents/patients.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations and Keswick's nursing care standards.
- Compassionately provide care, helping residents/patients maintain or attain the highest practical level of functioning.
