About The Position

As an ENGEO Staff Engineer, you will be exposed to a wide variety of project scopes, types, and technical challenges. You will be mentored and supported to take on responsibility quickly and encouraged to build technical expertise, project management, and business development soft skills. Starting at ENGEO as a staff engineer opened doors I didn’t even know existed. Every challenge has pushed me to grow, not just as an engineer, but as a person—and I’ve learned so much from the incredible team around me. This role involves developing geotechnical recommendations, plans, and technical specifications for the design and construction of private and public projects. You will perform geotechnical analysis and design of various systems, assess static and dynamic slope stability, and perform numerical modeling. The position also includes assisting with field investigations, developing laboratory testing plans, preparing detailed geotechnical reports, and observing construction. You will learn increasingly complex tasks with oversight from senior staff and have the opportunity to support global projects, potentially traveling to international sites for engineering support and field investigations.
