The Geotechnical Project Manager will be primarily involved with the preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations with a strong commitment to meet project deadlines. This role will also manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects, review daily reports, assist with issue resolution, and train field staff. The Project Manager will prepare both geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage project budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices. They will host or attend project meetings with clients to follow up on delivered reports and provide technical solutions. Other duties may include assisting with or performing the following with supervision: preparing drilling packages and obtaining utility clearances, performing research on local geologic history, supervising field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assisting with rig access issues, classifying soil and assigning laboratory testing, and mentoring and supporting Staff Project Managers, Assistant Staff Project Managers, and technicians in their development.
