About The Position

STV Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Geotechnical Engineering Specialist for their Franklin, TN location. This is an entry-level position designed for recent engineering graduates. The incumbent will work under close supervision, assisting Engineers with routine civil engineering assignments to gain familiarity with the company's programs, staff, and operating procedures.

Requirements

4 Year degree from accredited institution in Engineering
A minimum of 2 years of Geotechnical experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds 50 times per day
Occasionally required to lift 150 pounds (about once a week)

Nice To Haves

Additional consideration for master's or other advanced degrees
Pursuing Engineer in Training Certificate or Professional Engineer Licensure for a current EIT

Responsibilities

Assimilation of Geotechnical Reports
Supervision of Drill Crew on routine projects and more complex projects as experience increases
Assist with Mineral Reserve Studies
