About The Position

The Geotechnical Engineer will assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports. This role involves performing basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers, and supporting design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. The position also requires conducting site visits, field inspections, and data collection, as well as assisting with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies. The engineer will participate in internal project meetings, collaborate with other disciplines, and support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field.
EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
Exposure to relevant software such as MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.
