CIMA+'s Earth and Environment team is committed to sustainable development and prioritizes environmental, social, and economic benefits in all projects. Our engineers and technicians possess deep knowledge of local conditions to deliver a comprehensive suite of environmental services for both public and private sector clients. We integrate green solutions into all infrastructure, building, transportation, and energy projects. We are seeking a skilled Intermediate/Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Earth and Environment team in Calgary, Alberta. This role involves working within multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects, contributing to the planning, design, and delivery of geotechnical engineering solutions across Alberta and Western Canada. The position offers a significant opportunity for professional growth in both technical expertise and project management within a collaborative and supportive setting. Depending on experience, the successful candidate will lead or support geotechnical investigations, technical analyses, reporting, design recommendations, construction support, client coordination, and the mentorship of junior staff. Projects encompass a wide range, including roads, buildings, municipal infrastructure, hydraulic structures, dams, slope stabilization, soil dynamics, earthworks, retaining structures, foundations, and erosion protection. Collaboration with both public and private sector clients is expected. While the primary focus is on Alberta-based projects, there may be opportunities to contribute to work in other regions of Canada. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, combining remote and office-based work from our Calgary North office, to support a healthy work-life balance.
