About The Position

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager for our Napeville, IL office. On our team, you will have an opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects in energy generation and transmission, manufacturing, commercial real estate, transportation, recycling and waste management projects, and others. As a project manager, you will have an opportunity to manage large and small projects in our immediate region as well as across the country. Requirements

• 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience
• Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
• Bachelors's in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Coordination and monitoring subsurface drilling investigations
• Reviewing boring logs
• Developing laboratory testing programs
• Interpreting laboratory data, performing geotechnical analyses
• Preparing reports
• Managing field engineers and technicians
• Reviewing field reports and field test results
• Confirming compliance with project design drawings and specifications
• Meeting with the client and other stake holders
