About The Position

HDR is hiring a Geotechnical EIT for its Water Business Group. The role supports water and infrastructure projects, including flood walls, levees, dam embankments, bank protection, hydraulic structures, bridges, and pumping stations. The EIT develops geotechnical calculations and analyses, evaluates design options, and assists with technical memoranda and geotechnical reports. Assignments typically use standard engineering techniques and have clear objectives with limited variables. The position includes field investigations and construction-related field work, and may involve working independently on small projects or assisting senior engineers on larger projects. The candidate is expected to work efficiently under the general supervision of senior-level Geotechnical Engineers. HDR describes itself as an employee-owned company committed to an inclusive, collaborative culture.
