The successful candidate will assist in the planning, setup and execution of geotechnical field investigations for Transportation and Rail projects. This role involves supervising geotechnical drilling operations including SPT and CPT testing, in-situ geotechnical testing, soils strata logging and soil sample logging. The technician will also conduct asphalt and concrete coring operations, observe and record site conditions, drainage patterns and construction operations, and provide support for laboratory and factual reporting teams. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver project objectives on time and within budget, while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and health & safety regulations.
