Requirements

• Has a College Diploma (civil, geotechnical) or other applicable degree in an engineering or technology-based field
• Has a valid provincial driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• Consistently executing prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans in a safe, efficient manner

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in materials testing, surveying, or blasting services is an asset
• Current CCIL certification is an asset

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
• Attend site visits and collect data with total stations and other instruments
• Support the Project Manager and Field Supervisor with field responsibilities such as instrument installations and maintenance
• Field compaction testing
• Field and laboratory concrete testing
• Pre-blast surveys
• Vibration monitoring
• Settlement monitoring
• Prepare technical reports
• Participate in preconstruction site visits and field inspections
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
• Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development opportunities
