About The Position

E&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Mapping Trainer to join their team in JBAB, DC. This role supports the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI) by cataloging and analyzing military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources. The trainer will be responsible for teaching analysts how to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other analytic tools to develop intelligence products, aggregate and analyze geospatial information, produce visualizations and modeling, and identify key locations and personalities within high-priority networks. The position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with analysts, mission partners, and customers.

Requirements

3+ years of experience with using GIS, including ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth, GeoMedia PRO, or QGIS to conduct GEOINT analysis in the DoD
1+ year of experience leading trainings on the above GIS tools
3+ years of experience with conducting open-source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination
Experience with creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements
Experience in representing an office or organization to internal and external audiences and providing customer service
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Experience supporting strategic- and operational-level customers
Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the appropriate level

Nice To Haves

Experience with using business technologies, including Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, or Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Python and other coding languages
Knowledge of DoD and intelligence community missions
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

Train analysts on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other analytic tools to develop intelligence products that will support the warfighter.
Teach analysts to aggregate and analyze geospatial information and produce visualizations and modeling to support the production of intelligence reports.
Assist in identifying key locations and personalities within high-priority networks.
